Download the Image Size app from the App Store

  1. Tap the image icon to select your photo
  2. Set the long side to 1500px 
  3. Make sure “Maintain Aspect Ratio” is ON
  4. Tap the Download or Save button

Use the built-in Preview app:

  1. Right-click your image and select Open With > Preview
