using Google Analytics for the first time, this is the version you want to start with.

️ How To Create a Google Analytics 4 Account
- Go to https://analytics.google.com
- Log in with your Google account
- If prompted, click “Start Measuring”
- On the Account Setup page:
○ Enter an Account Name (e.g., your business or brand name)
○ ✅ Avoid using your website name here—you’ll enter that in the next step
○ Click Next - On the Property Setup screen:
○ Enter your website or app name
○ Choose your time zone and currency
○ Click Next - Fill out Business Details:
○ Industry Category
○ Business Size (number of employees)
○ Click Next - Choose your business objectives
○ You can select multiple (e.g., Lead Generation, Online Sales)
○ Click Create - Agree to the Terms of Service
- Choose where you’ll collect data:
○ For most websites, select Web - Enter your website URL and give your data stream a name
○ 📌 Leave “Enhanced Measurement” toggled ON
○ Click Create Stream - You’ll now see a summary page for your new data stream
