️ How To Create a Google Analytics 4 Account

  1. Go to https://analytics.google.com
  2. Log in with your Google account
  3. If prompted, click “Start Measuring”
  4. On the Account Setup page:
    ○ Enter an Account Name (e.g., your business or brand name)
    ○ ✅ Avoid using your website name here—you’ll enter that in the next step
    ○ Click Next
  5. On the Property Setup screen:
    ○ Enter your website or app name
    ○ Choose your time zone and currency
    ○ Click Next
  6.  Fill out Business Details:
    ○ Industry Category
    ○ Business Size (number of employees)
    ○ Click Next
  7. Choose your business objectives
    ○ You can select multiple (e.g., Lead Generation, Online Sales)
    ○ Click Create
  8. Agree to the Terms of Service
  9. Choose where you’ll collect data:
    ○ For most websites, select Web
  10. Enter your website URL and give your data stream a name
    ○ 📌 Leave “Enhanced Measurement” toggled ON
    ○ Click Create Stream
  11.  You’ll now see a summary page for your new data stream
    ✅ You’ve successfully created your GA4 account!
